Choosing a wedding photographer and videographer is one of the most important, yet difficult decisions you’ll have to make. Very bluntly, after all is said and done, you’ll just have your memories and our work to remind you of this pivotal day in your life. We work tirelessly to understand your concerns, priorities, and the fact that you think your left side is your good side, even though we think both sides are perfectly beautiful. And the fact that most of our clients are referrals from past clients means we must have done something right. How long have you been doing this and how many weddings have you shot?
We both started our photography careers as analog street photographers (yes, that means film and no we weren’t hipsters back then…well maybe Nino was…). We started shooting weddings in 2009 and slowly learned the craft working alongside talented professionals. The Love Studio officially started in 2012 while we were living in Barcelona. Since then, we’ve been doing wedding photography and videography full time, and have photographed over 200 wedding celebrations.
How many photographers and videographers does The Love Studio have?
The Love Studio was founded by Andreea and Nino (that’s us!). We are the primary photographers and videographers, and lead a talented team of four second shooters. Our work is based on building a solid relationship with you before the wedding day, so whichever one of us will lead the team on your wedding day will be the one to do your engagement shoot and be the point of contact throughout the process. Like you, we think it’s disrespectful to bounce you around the studio, having a different point of contact each time.
What equipment do you use and what format will I receive my photo and video files in?
We work with (a few) Canon 6D bodies and a collection of lenses including our favourites 35mm f/2.0, 50mm f/1.4, 70-200mm f/2.8. All material will be delivered on a USB so you can make as many copies as you’d like and take the USB drive to a print shop to easily print your files. Photos are all delivered in high print resolution, fully edited, and without watermarks. Video files are delivered as .mp4 files with HD 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080).
You offer a complimentary engagement session with each wedding package. Can I just remove it and you discount me for the difference?
We have found through our experience that the best way to deliver a product that you are in love with is to get you know you as best we can and to actually do a shoot with you before the wedding day. Unless you spend your days taking selfies or are some sort of television personality, you will be uncomfortable with a camera following your every move for an entire day. While you’re doing your snorting laugh and while you do your ugly cry. We want to make sure that you see what you look like through our eyes before the wedding day and that you feel we are capturing you at your most natural and beautiful so come the wedding day, you are confident we’ll capture your day the way you would like us to.
