Tulum is a place near and dear to our hearts. We love the boho tropical aesthetic, we love the kind of free spirits that are attracted to this lush corner of the world, we love that kooky mezcal and ice cream bar in the middle of the street and we love the midnight street tacos.
When The Eventeur called us up and told us about Eleanor and Jacques’ ocean inspired boho wedding at Maria del Mar and Piedra Escondida we were in! And once we met Eleanor and Jacques we were in so far we fell head over heels in love with their vision and the two of them. From Eleanor’s Grace Loves Lace dress, to the turquoise design accents, and the lush tropical tablescape, everything was perfect.
But what we actually loved most were Eleanor and Jacques themselves, how open they were, how easily we connected with them, and how beautifully they handled the tropical downpour that hit as soon as the reception started. Without skipping a beat, or batting an waterproof mascara-ed eyelash, Eleanor, Jacques and their awesome family and friends continued their party well into the night, the sound of the rain mixing with the sounds of the DJ.
